The OnePlus 13R Will be Equipped with a 50 Megapixel Telephoto Lens

Recently, an overseas digital blogger revealed that the OnePlus 13R will be equipped with a 50 megapixel telephoto lens.

OnePlus 13R is the overseas version of OnePlus Ace 5, positioned lower than OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OnePlus 13. From a positioning perspective, the OnePlus 13R equipped with a 50 megapixel telephoto lens is considered an "upgrade".

Based on previous reports, the OnePlus 13R will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, a 1.5K resolution OLED screen, and support 120Hz high refresh rate and high sampling rate. The screen supplier is likely to be the domestic manufacturer BOE, with a built-in 6100mAh battery, support for 100W wired fast charging, and a rear triple camera system, including a 50 megapixel main camera, a 50 megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens.

It is worth mentioning that there are some differences in configuration between the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus 13R in China. The 50 megapixel telephoto lens has been removed, but the battery capacity has been increased to 6400mAh. However, as an overseas model, the price of the OnePlus 13R will be significantly higher than that of the OnePlus Ace 5.

In addition, there are reports that OnePlus is also preparing a small screen flagship, expected to be released in the second quarter of 2025, or named OnePlus 13S/OnePlus 13mini, with competitors including Xiaomi 15 and vivo X200 Pro mini.
