Xiaomi Poco M7 Pro 5G

Xiaomi's overseas sub brand POCO has launched a new 5G smartphone POCO M7 Pro 5G in the Indian market, which is currently available for pre-sale on Flipkart.

POCO M7 Pro 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip, using 6-nanometer process technology, with two Cortex-A78 (2.5GHz) cores and six A55 (2.0GHz) cores. We offer two configuration options: 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X memory and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device comes pre installed with the Xiaomi Pengpai OS system based on Android 14, and promises to provide 2 operating system updates and 4 years of security patch updates.

In terms of display, the M7 Pro 5G has significantly improved compared to the previous generation M6 Pro 5G, adopting a 6.67-inch FHD+OLED screen, supporting 120Hz refresh rate, high-frequency PWM dimming, and 2160Hz touch sampling rate, with a peak brightness of up to 2100 nits, and covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The fingerprint recognition module has also been moved from the side to the bottom of the screen.

The imaging system has also been significantly upgraded. The rear camera adopts a 50 megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor, equipped with a rare f/1.5 large aperture lens in the same class, and supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), but video recording only supports up to 1080p@30fps The front camera has 20 million pixels and is equipped with a wider angle lens (officially referred to as "0.8x", but the specific focal length has not been disclosed). It should be pointed out that the machine is not equipped with an ultra wide angle lens.

In other aspects, the POCO M7 Pro 5G is equipped with stereo speakers and offers volume enhancement, while retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack and infrared transmitter. The bottom adopts USB-C interface, built-in 5110mAh battery, supports 45W fast charging, which has significantly improved the 18W charging speed compared to M6 Pro 5G. The body adopts a dual tone design, with a thickness of 7.99mm, a weight of 190g, and supports IP64 dust and water resistance.
