Small Smartphones to Get 6000mAh Batteries Next Year

It was reported that several small screen phones equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform and MediaTek Dimensity 9 series chips next year will be equipped with high-capacity batteries of around 6000mAh. However, some of these models are equipped with periscope telephoto lenses and wireless charging, so the battery capacity is relatively smaller.

In October of this year, vivo、OPPO、 Xiaomi and other manufacturers have successively released multiple relatively small-sized straight screen flagships, including the vivo X200 Pro mini (6.3 inches), OPPO Find X8 (6.59 inches), and Xiaomi 15 (6.36 inches). Among them, the vivo X200 Pro mini has the largest battery capacity, reaching 5700mAh, while the Xiaomi 15 has a battery capacity of 5400mAh.

It is reported that OPPO, OnePlus, and realme will all release 6.3-inch small screen phones next year, and will share the screen production line. The release time will be in the second quarter of 2025. It is speculated that the OPPO Find X8 mini may be equipped with a periscope telephoto camera, which may have a smaller battery capacity.

In addition, vivo also plans to launch a mid-range small screen phone, equipped with the Dimensity 9 flagship platform, a 50 megapixel large bottom main camera telephoto lens, and a screen that is likely to be the same 6.31-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO screen as the flagship phone. There are also reports suggesting that the REDMI K90 may have a relatively small screen size of 6.5 inches or 6.6 inches.
